Our bunny prints!
Anyhow several easter eggs and lindt bunnies later dd is in bed! im chillin on here and dh is decorating! I have my priorities right, surfing and chilling! Might even crack open a bottle of wine!

Sunday sun - where has it gone!

Surprise, surprise its raining again today, happy sunny sunday! I decided that as its been so grey and grim today I'd scrap a sunny layout, this pic was taken in southsea when we went on a family picnic. I used Scenic Route Lynden Papers and American Crafts Thickers.

Steve has the decorating bug and we spent this afternoon in the DIY stores looking for paint, new doors and carpets, bought a few bits and Steve is now priming the lobby, it will be great when the house is finished! We only moved in four years ago!!!

The weekend is here again!

Yesterday my Scrapagogo kit arrived Im sooooo excited, it looks so lovely, totally not my style at all with lots of browns, mustards and greens in it which are colours I would never dream of using or buying for that matter, but the whole point of sunscribing to a kit is that you are out of your comfort zone! Heres a piccie of whats in it: Scenic route papers, K&Co Wild Saffron, bazzill cardstock and loads of other bits and bobs!

We went to Jongleurs last night and it was brill all three acts were great! Had us in stitches. As we were leaving we were given a card to let us get 20 free tickets for next friday, no chance in going though as we have no babysitter, what a bummer!!!!

Have done a layout this morning of Charlotte using the Basic Grey Two Scoops, which ae a very delicious set of papers in my sort of colourways! Very cute and girly styles! The layout uses the neopolitan paper, the monograms, the elements stickers as well as the glazed brads along with some pretty pastel pink and lemon ribbons. The piccie is of Charley on her first spanish holiday at about 5 months old, we love the dress she was in its so old fashioned with its smocking but very pretty!

Steve is getting into the mood for decorating which is great we've been in the house for four years and not done much now so were off to look at some paint colours and floor coverings for the hallway as that really does look bad, then the study needs doing next I feel! Right off to shop for paper and paints for the walls so will love you all and leave you! Enjoy the rest of your saturday!

Monday morning

The wind is howling, the rain is pooring, but happy monday! I love it when it rains in the mornings especially when its a work morning! The kids go in early and I go home early - Im a Kids Club supervisor so I drop the kids at school after giving them breakfast!

We had a good weekend, went swimming yesterday with Charlotte, she howled when it was time to get out of the pool bless her, she really didnt want to.

I did the UKS challenge again this week.

This weeks challenge was entitled : REDUCE, REUSE, RECYCLE

Use Sketch (Impromptu Scrap 10.30 est)

10ptsUse Recycled (scraps, magpie items, etc.,) 10pts

Use Green 5 pts

Nature Inspired 5 pts

Ok, so used the sketch, the little fishy charm was on an atc that was damaged in the post so Ive reused it! Lots of green with bazzill cardstock and K&Co Amy Butler papers and of course the seaside is def nature, so I claimed my 30 points for my team which I am really pleased about. The next challenge is out so Im off to look at that.

Before I go, I have lost another 3lbs this week so that puts me at 7lb in total over the last 2 weeks! Hooray Im getting there, just got to try and keep up the good work.

Exciting deliveries

Ohhhh I just love getting stuff through the post. I got my back pay this month andhave spent a little of it on cafty bits! The first were from an etsy shop called Every Jot and Tittle Have a look, there is some great things in the shop. These labels and journal spots are delicious.

I also ordered the qvc foam american thickers (586141) as they were such good value, they were about £16.50 for 12 packs, couldnt have asked for better value. The final things that arrived were my 7 Gypsies stamps from www.craft-emporium.co.uk I am just getting into putting journalling on my pages and these little stamps are perfect!

So the futures bright, the futures scrapping! Im looking forward to getting down to some serios scrapping over the next few weeks, I guess really that I should be doing my uni assignment but heyho! thats life.

Heard from my friend Jo yesterday, she ahs moved to Nottingham, I can't remember the last time we emailed but it must have been years ago! Anyway after several e-mails we have begun to catch up on each others lives and hopefully we can meet up soon!
