I finished my recipe swap cards and have posted them today, heres the pics!, I like them just hope the reciepients do!

A little piece of the colourful mess I make in life

A bind-it-all, to make lots and lots of little mini books, which I love doing at the moment! Only issue is that I have no overtime due until the summer months, so no money, so I can't afford it! Ive tried selling all my sizzix dies on that famous auction site, but still cant get rid of them all!!!!!! If I could then I could have it, but heyho will have to wait for september for my holiday pay!!!!!!
Am job hunting at the moment and got an interview for a job that I really, really want, but probably have no hope in getting, we shall see, lots more still to apply for though!
Right no more blogging till later as I have fathers day stuff to get ready, I need to finish it today, cant leave it any longer.

It was my turn to set the challenge on docrafts this month, its a just for fun one, but lots of us have a go so here is what I set:
I would like you scrap a fun day out, family event or celebration.June means sunshine and summer so bright bold summery colours please!
As dd is learning to count you must use:
1 chipboard shape
2 patterned papers
3 ribbons/ric rac
4 blooms/flowers
5 brads
and here is the photobucket link in case you want to see what everyone has done!

So what was inside you ask, loads and loads, including a little pressie for Charlotte which isnt pictured as she hadnt opened it when I took pics! Just get an eyeful of this!!!!

There were some fab nivea products, honey roasted nuts(mmmmm), Werthers originals (my fav!) dark chocolate (notice how I started with the food!, blingy bits, a pen, paperchase journalling book, nail file, nail varnish, sticky bits and lots of other little cool bits, I love it and was soooooo excited with it.
My goodies from my team swap arrived today as well, will take a piccie later, Claire sent far more the £5.00 we were meant to, so now Im going to have a look and see what else I can find for her!

Over on the Docrafts blog they are asking for comments on the crop-a-dile. I love mine so much so I also now have the Crop-a-dile 2 big bite! I have the lilac version which matches my craft tote and trolley so that's always a good start. I find it very easy to use and mine came with a handy storage case which holds eyelets which is fab!
It cuts though almost anything and Ive made some fab ribbon storage with mine. The downside is that it can only set and make holes up to just over an inch into a page hence the purchase of the Crop-a-dile 2 big bite which makes holes up to 6 inches into a page, so right into the centre of my 12x12 layouts! I love it and would not be without it!

Did a layout in superquick timing today, ill upload later. Im really pleased with it as it uses my least favourite colour - BROWN - YUCK!!! It acutally looks quite cool though! I used my march scrapagogo kit which I thought that I was never ever gonna use as its all browns, mustardy yellows etc using lots of the K&Co wild saffron and some scenic route papers. Im pleased with the way it turned out though and am going to start another brown layout later!!!

Charley is beginning to settle down at pre school with other children now - fingers crossed and the biting for the moment has slowed right down, I can finally see some light at the end of the tunnel, she is much better behaved at home but Im dreading the next 2 weeks of school holidays and cant wait for 25th April when school starts again!!! Shoudlnt wish life away but I hate school holidays!

Our bunny prints!
Steve has the decorating bug and we spent this afternoon in the DIY stores looking for paint, new doors and carpets, bought a few bits and Steve is now priming the lobby, it will be great when the house is finished! We only moved in four years ago!!!

We went to Jongleurs last night and it was brill all three acts were great! Had us in stitches. As we were leaving we were given a card to let us get 20 free tickets for next friday, no chance in going though as we have no babysitter, what a bummer!!!!
Have done a layout this morning of Charlotte using the Basic Grey Two Scoops, which ae a very delicious set of papers in my sort of colourways! Very cute and girly styles! The layout uses the neopolitan paper, the monograms, the elements stickers as well as the glazed brads along with some pretty pastel pink and lemon ribbons. The piccie is of Charley on her first spanish holiday at about 5 months old, we love the dress she was in its so old fashioned with its smocking but very pretty!
Steve is getting into the mood for decorating which is great we've been in the house for four years and not done much now so were off to look at some paint colours and floor coverings for the hallway as that really does look bad, then the study needs doing next I feel! Right off to shop for paper and paints for the walls so will love you all and leave you! Enjoy the rest of your saturday!
Ok, so used the sketch, the little fishy charm was on an atc that was damaged in the post so Ive reused it! Lots of green with bazzill cardstock and K&Co Amy Butler papers and of course the seaside is def nature, so I claimed my 30 points for my team which I am really pleased about. The next challenge is out so Im off to look at that.
Before I go, I have lost another 3lbs this week so that puts me at 7lb in total over the last 2 weeks! Hooray Im getting there, just got to try and keep up the good work.
